Bitcoin 101

At Unchained we focus a significant portion of our time on bitcoin education, both from a fundamental perspective as well security because we think it is a cornerstone of developing enduring relationships. I will share a presentation, ‘What the Heck is Bitcoin?’ designed to make bitcoin accessible to those that are just becoming interested.

Lisa Hough is Director of Client Solutions at Unchained Capital, a bitcoin-native financial services firm supporting corporations and HNWI to secure generational wealth in bitcoin. Lisa is a force evangelizing for “Why Bitcoin, not Crypto” and is frequently called on by executive teams, leadership forums, and civic groups as they build an informed thesis on bitcoin.
Previously, Lisa built a digital asset advisory group providing evidence-based education about blockchain, bitcoin trading and mining, investment vehicles, and other related digital asset topics. Her clients included advisors to large public and private foundations, wealth managers, HNWI, and public companies.
Lisa’s keen understanding of cross-market dynamics developed during a decade in trading and risk management at energy trading and marketing organizations, including Enron and PG&E Corp.
Lisa is a graduate of Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT, and Southern Methodist University, where she earned a BA in Biology.
