Maria Maso is the CEO and cofounder of baMa (Business Angel Minority Association). Through her career in the startup world she has served as an advisor, mentor, and facilitator for various programs such as Impact Hub or WeWork. She has been recognized by Solo Mujeres Magazine (“Mujer Latina 2020: Soporte a la inversion” award), by the Houston Business Journal (“Women who Inspire 2020” award), and by the Houston Exponential Listees (“DEI Houston Champion 2020”). Her background is in IT and finance global management in several Fortune 500 companies. She combines her extensive international career, personal journey, and passion for innovation to support early-stage startups, invest in diversity and build bridges to create a more inclusive ecosystem.
