Learn the simple things you can do to level up your next video and how to tell your story.

Professional techniques seem like overkill but they’re how you get to the next level with your online presence. They’re also more about planning your work instead of fancy hardware or software than you think.

What to Expect: During this talk, participants will be taken through a 5 step workflow model to develop dynamic personalized 60sec. videos/PSA’s.   The method can be applied to everything from social media posts to feature films and can be used for any combination of cameras and editing available. With a fun and lighthearted approach, Anita will introduce tools to enhance the outcome of your communication by learning the process.

  • Go from finding your fame to claiming your fame.
  • Learn how website intros and video newsletters can all be drastically improved with the addition of a little production value.
  • Focus on the practical use of your own video equipment and how to apply your new skills to your own projects, both professional and personal.
  • The basics of storytelling.
  • Troubleshooting your own video from development to distribution.
  • Some simple tricks to improve your zoom presence.

More about Anita:
Anita Long is a storyteller, filmmaker, educator and social entrepreneur.
President of Long Films Studio, Immediate Past President Women in Film and Television Houston, presently Vice President at Federation of Houston Professional Women FHPW.

As a filmmaker, she has produced and directed over 40 educational interviews for a PBS a documentary series called “Texas Feeding Minds” along with a wide array of films and community documentaries.

Ms. Long is an experienced educator and movie producer/director who has been awarded medals from The Smithsonian Institute; Permanent Research Collection housed at the National Museum of American History, Awards for Visionary Use of Information Technology to Effect Positive Education and published in the Library of Congress. Examples of her work are published in the Library of Congress and in more than 30 museums and libraries around the country.

Much of her work has attracted the attention of the broadcast and print media, including being featured frequently on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and BET.

Clients have included the No-Profit sector, NASA, Adobe, Intel, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Sister Cities of Houston and many national and international corporations.
