Period Poverty is a real thing and we have partnered with Think Pink Inc, to do something about it. April 28-May 8, we will be collecting feminine hygiene products to be put into kits for girls who have a need. Think Pink Inc. works with school nurses to supply girls who are experiencing period poverty. Did you know that 1 out of 5 girls experience not having what she needs when she starts her period? Girls will often skip school, use a feminine hygiene product too long or use an alternative absorbent item that can be harmful. As women we want our girls to have what they need to stay in school and not have additional stress or health concerns because they do not have the feminine hygiene products they need. We will be putting packs of products together for girls in need at SheSpace on May 8th at Noon. See you there!

Please note that on Friday, May 2nd, we will be hosting a private event in the space.
